Transcribing is a lot more fun with friends :) To invite someone to collaborate on a Transcription, navigate to Settings and then to the Sharing & Collaboration section:

Add the Email Address of the user you with to invite and select one of the Collaborator Levels and click Send Invite.

Collaborator Levels

There are two levels currently available for sharing:

  • Viewer: the invited user will gain read-only access to this transcription and associated regions & issues.
  • Editor: the invited user will gain write access to the transcription and associated regions & issues.

Note: Transcription settings can only be adjusted by the owner.

Conflict Resolution

By default conflicts will attempt to resolve automatically, however if a conflict cannot be dealt with automatically, you will be presented with a dialog showing both the local and remote change, where you can choose to keep your local changes (overwrite remote change) or accept the incoming change from the remote user.
