Philosophy
Our vision of kiyânaw is a community-oriented and community-driven project that represents “all of us” (kiyânaw 21P “us (inclusive)”). It was built by language learners to support other language learners and provide accessibility for underrepresented langugages.
We are a small, grassroots team, we do not have formal committees or governing bodies. Instead, we are guided by Natural Law and also look to our community to help us align our work with the values we hold: kindness, truth, strength, and sharing.
We constantly reevaluate our efforts to ensure that they remain in alignment with the Creator’s laws and we hold ourselves accountable to the communities we serve.
If something we are doing seems out of alignment, whether it is a missing feature, a mistake, or a decision that needs correcting, we welcome that feedback. Our actions are informed and guided by the needs of you, the community, and we want people to know that they can always reach out to us.
