What is kiyânaw Mentor?
kiyânaw Mentor is a mobile application aimed at connecting language speakers and language learners.
The application design is motivated by several problems:
- software development is very expensive,
- the majority of a software budget for a language app likely goes to writing the software,
- mentors already connecting with learners online don’t always provide audio,
- existing shared language is not always discoverable by other learners,
- it would be difficult and time-consuming to build a language app for every single dialect & community
