Transcription Settings

Click on the Transcription title to access the settings page:

Settings Panel

The following settings are available:

• General Settings
• Language Setting
• Is Discoverable?
• Publish Issues?
• Sharing & Collaboration
• Delete Transcription

General Settings

Adjust the Title and add Comments to the Transcription, and then hit Save Changes.

Language Setting

By default there will not be a Language selected for your transcription. You are free to transcribe any language you choose, however if there is a Spell Checker available for your language, it will be displayed here.

• nêhiyawêwin (Plains Cree Y-dialect)
• Northern Michif (experimental)

Is Discoverable?

By default all your transcriptions are private, however if you wish for your work to contribute to the Language Database you may toggle on the Is Discoverable? toggle and your region text will be indexed in the database and searchable for other learners.

Publish Issues?

When enabled, Issues will be index and available in our upcoming Issue Browser (coming soon).

Sharing & Collaboration

This section will allow you to add Contributors or Viewers to your transcription.

Delete Transcription

Here you can delete your transcription. Note that all transcription, region data, invitations & media files will be deleted immediately after confirmation.
